Patent reforms that raise the bar for validity and for review are a positive for Wi-LAN and other firms with substantial valid patent portfolios that have been vetted by the courts and a history of commercial licensing.

I think this can work to the benefit of Wi-LAN: Although any firm that in business to license patents ca become the object of criticism as being a 'Patent Troll' and patent reforms interpreted as limiting them, higher goal posts, higher process fees, etc. works to the advantage of those firms having among the most solid patents and assemblage of portfolios imo.
