The total includes all models – 3Gs, iPhone 4, iPhone 4 CDMA and iPhone 5. The story asserts that iPhone 5 will account for 25.5 million to 26 million units of the total.|
DigiTimes further asserts that iPhone 5 orders for Q3 have been reduced to 7 million from 5.5 million to 6 million (insert ?), which Q4 orders have jumped to more than 20 million from 14 million. Total orders for the current models for the Q3 tops 20 million units, with a drop to 8 million in units for Q4.
The piece says total calendar 2011 iPhone shipments are expected to hit 95 million units.
