Another point to the discussion: longnshort is no longer banned on the Kitchen thread. Although he was banned initially for posting up a politically tainted news item to prove a point, the ban was lifted within about 10 days after a review. As you know, the Kitchen thread does not allow political discussion. Political discussions too often become board fights, and the only place for that is political message boards. Too often those boards become open sewers.
