I have an original Mac Powerbook. The big luggable thing with the lead-acid battery. My wife wants me to junk it, but it still works when plugged in. Equivalent to a Mac SE. I want to keep it to show the grandkids one day when they have their holographic, wrist computers - this is what we had to lug around.... ..and before that, we used to scratch on flat rocks with charcoal pens by Microsoft! KIDS: Oooh! Do you mean the mousepad company? ME: Yes, Microsoft used to make a few things before they were relegated to just selling antique mousepads. KIDS: I wonder how they ever got into the technology business? ME: Me too chillins! Me too.... (rocking back and forth on the hover chair) <Yeah they were built tough. I had a 230C that I dropped and it bounced back into my loving arms with no damage. Well sort of bounced but it survived. Latest MacBooks you look at wrong and their feelings get hurt and dented.>
