Silly Wang, higher costs don't automatically mean higher pricing. AMD could (surprise!) settle for lower margins if their costs were higher as they routinely do with other x86 CPUs. With a die size of only 75mm^2 and no need to produce it using expensive SOI wafers and expensive Dresden labor, it is probably one of the least costly AMD CPUs to produce in recent years.
