Good post, Uncle Frank. Might not be as optimistic as you, but bottom line, this is a very tough market to read, and therefore trade.

As far as Fed action yesterday, I don't see why the market should be surprised, but now the critics of Fed policy get their headlines. As far as China, one weeks output is up, the next it is down. Bulls say the government has inflation and credit under control, bears say China is gonna bust from too many years of rapid growth. Hence, this is the market in which stock prices float notwithstanding solid fundamentals.

It's all a question of time horizon. Both CSCO & QCOM are well-positioned as, in the long run, the world economy recovers from a protracted recession.
