April and May Option Candidates. I keep a list of option candidates, that is contingent on option premium available and the likelihood of stock appreciation during this period of earnings reporting. This is a subjective list, that I'm using for the current earnings period. All stocks listed are with today's closing prices. All option positions that I would use would be for May expiration. My expectation is that this rally will continue through the earnings season and some of these companies will report earnings just prior to or just after April expiration. AA......14.44 May 14's AMD......9.11 May 9's AKAM....31.68 May 32's AMAT....13.31 May 13's BAC.....18.04 May 18's C........4.18 May 4's CSCO....26.51 May 26's INTC....22.33 May 22's MRVL....20.46 May 20's MU......10.63 May 11's NTAP....32.54 May 32's TXN.....24.70 May 25's STX.....18.90 May 19's WFC.... 31.10 May 31's Near or at the money strikes are where I want to be at this time. I try to keep clear of long shots or those stocks hyped by the talking heads of CNBC . I have not posted a great deal as of late because of time constraints. Other are encouraged to post option positions that they would like to share with other thread viewers.
