Right. The problem is that the page at that link only needs to exist because Microsoft software is poorly designed. That page is not evidence that Microsoft is on top of things, it is evidence that Microsoft software is poorly designed. As a user, why would I want to dig through all that gobbledygook? Who cares whether Ultimate->Ultimate is no problem but Ultimate->Professional is a problem? Why in the world should a laptop user be burdened with that utterly meaningless consideration? The equivalent Apple page/chart/tome is "insert DVD, click 'install'". In other words, it just works, as it should. The reason it should is because that's what's best for the customer. Repeating: it just works. Why doesn't Microsoft make it just work? --QS
