The hot spot reflections in their eyes tell me one light source was used as the main, with no fill. I've never cared much for Annie's stuff, but by her own standards this seems to me as rushed work. Perhaps she only had a couple of minutes? The part that bothers me the most is the mottled noise in the shadows, clearly evident in the upper left corner, for one example. For an official, set-up portrait, I find that to be stunningly unprofessional. Especially given the image data, which says the photo was made with a Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, @ ISO 400. I don't get it. At ISO 400, the shadows from this full frame body should be as smooth as butter, even if output as in-camera-processed jpegs. Someone does not know how to properly massage a raw file!! Thankfully, she did the gig for free. Otherwise, on behalf of the US tax paying public, I'd demand a refund!
