According to the wires, Dennis McEvoy is leaving to go to Verity, and Litwack is taking his position. This completes the Powersoft takeover of Sybase. Wait a minute. Who bought whom?

Remember, folks, you heard it here first on 8/27. Apparently the announcement was delayed until Dennis could find a job and save face.
