On Rule 1, if a stock moves to pink sheets,

you have to sell it (or if short, buy to cover) using the last closing price before it entered the pink sheets.

As for the end date - the end of January is too long. I prefer at least 3 games a year, so 4 months maximum per round. An end of December 16 is better for me, but we don't have to end on OE. December 31 (a Thursday) is OK.
