The current grid is a travesty and an eloquent--if sardonic--comment on the pain Microsoft has inflicted on hapless computer users during its fading quarter-century hegemony. Therefore the chart in its present form should be an enormous humiliation to Microsoft and anyone who holds shares in it.
But we're a country of conventional wisdom and mass hypnosis, so of course it probably isn't. Instead, Microsoft shareholders, rather than noting the extreme, or maybe Ultimate, self-satire screaming from that chart, are probably rather proud of it.
