I wasn't intending to post here any more, but when I saw this item my jaw just dropped. Isn't the central issue in this article precisely what Mr. Pony Boy has been crowing about to the press and anyone else who will nod through his BS for the last two years? Compact, cost- and energy-efficient powerful servers based on neato new multi-core CPU's? If not, then what has he been blathering about? Back in the old days an article like this would have ended with "so we're going with Sun servers". The fact that the company is going out of business just as an article like this appears means Mr. Pony Boy should be catapulted out on his ass without a red cent from the acquisition. His failure is as egregious and as incompetent as it gets. --QS theinquirer.net
