Long time lurker, first time poster <g>...

I thought some of the gadget geeks on the thread might be interested in this video comparing the displays on the Canon 990is (LCD) and the Samsung WB1000 (OLED).

I'm not sure if the displays plays much of a role in the buying decision for most camera buyers but the OLED definitely provides some added benefits (better color accuracy, viewing angle, and lower power consumption). Another division of Samsung is manufacturing the displays so it is no surprise that they are the first to push them into mainstream devices but Canon has talked about eventually moving to OLED's as well.
