Maybe x86 has become, whats the word, ubiquitous maybe something like that and the implications are much larger now than previously. Coyotes used to be open season year round. Lots of people hoped to exterminate them. Now is different. Speaking Coyotes, true story on the radio about 30 (edit, make that 40) years ago driving across Montana a lady from some gov. agency was being interviewed about a plan to reduce population, sterilize male coyotes, by chemical castration. A caller admonished the speaker, "Lady, the coyotes are killing the sheep, not raping them". Well, the beer squirted out my nose.
