amarksp, indeed, something as you suggest will happen.

Once gold sails over $1000 this next time it will be pronounced to be the enemy of America...and what better way to deal with selfish speculators than to tax away their profits, returning them for use by the liberal / socialist agenda politicos and bringing back down the price in the process.

I wonder how long we have before the only safe gold is that held outside the country.
