In 10 years time, the iPhone will be in museums along with the Aeron chair... one of the great design achievements of the 21st century.

I'm a hard-bitten, cynical computer engineer who's seen it all in user interfaces and never previously had any interest in anything Apple.

But IMO my iPhone is the best designed gadget I've ever owned.
