<<Shares of ImClone fell in Tuesday trading, shedding about $3.33, or 5%, to $60.39 -- much closer to the Bristol-Myers offer price than it has been lately

This statement is at best misleading and at worst ignorant.

The 5% drop in IMCL’s share price yesterday had nothing to do with the cited remarks from BMY’s CFO and had everything to do with the failure of the CRYSTAL study to show a survival benefit for Erbitux in first-line mCRC:>>

Your comment is also misleading and incorrect.

After EPIC trial did not demonstrate any survival benefit for Erbitux and CRYSTAL trial has PFS at borderline
""The Phase III CRYSTAL study, conducted by Merck KGaA, of ERBITUX plus FOLFIRI (an irinotecan-based chemotherapy) in 1198 patients with previously untreated metatstatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) achieved its primary end point of improved survival without disease progression - decreasing the risk of disease progression by 15% (P = .0479).""),
NONE!, I mean NONE!, expected survival benefit in CRYSTAL. Negative is that even wild-KRAS didn't help to demonstrate ANY "medicinal" survival benefit for ERBITUX. If one go dipper to analyze economic cost-benefit ratio for Erbitux, than it is even more disappointing.

Icahn is nothing more than "reach bastard", who think that he can understand bios and how to play with them. I bet that BMS will not complete deal, and second bidder (Sanofi) is so stupid to make offer (they tried first time and didn't work).
