Dave,

I have a Dell XPS desktop that came with McAfee virus scan, which I have been using, with the Windows scan turned off. The yearly renewal fees for McAfee are a bit excessive to my thinking. Would it be wise to deep six McAfee, and turn on the Windows firewall application which I will use with Spybot?

Thanks for your suggestions.
