Good way of looking at it. Surprised the financials are so low; must've been a lot of short covering recently.

Might be useful to track changes over time and see how prices are responding. I'm not sure how much historical stuff they have on the Bloomberg site but I found those pages using keyword search " short interest industries 'market name' " on the news search tool, where market name is one of nyse/amex/nasdaq.
