MediaFLO looking like G*2 | idiotic to charge for programming

Mq was right about GlobalStar and the idiocy of charging huge per minute rates for spectrum that was highly pletiful... and it appears MediaFLO is going in the same direction.

Should have a free tier of programming, supported by advertisements. This should be news shows like FoxNews, CNBC, ESPN News, Weather Channel, etc...

Then sell premium content the the small minority of users who would be willing to pay for it ... content like, say, Playboy Channel, ESPN, pay per views, sit coms, etc ....

Actually, MediaFLO is worse than G* as the variable cost of each add'l user is basically $0 !!!! Talk about economies of scale. Even if Qualcomm made $0 money on the free users (leaving all of the ad revenue to the carriers and programmers), I guarantee you the tangential premium users will be more pletiful under that scenario than the present one of charging the few users who are willing to pay $10/mo to watch the idiot box on their phone.
