Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX), ranking Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, says he plans to fight legislation, including the Liberman/Warner bill, which would limit carbon emissions because of harm to the U.S. economy. Barton also questions the accuracy of scientific models that predict climate change will worsen.
