I was thinking that if I acquired the necessary ornaments and other paraphernalia I would also be "saved". Who would know the difference anyway between the real or the ersatz Orthodox Christian? Of course God would know. I will simply tell you that your condemnation will be far greater if you play the hypocrite and pretend to be a Christian when in fact you know that you are not. Better to admit that that you do not believe, as you do presently. After all, it was not all that long ago that I myself openly confessed to not being a Christian. I was not the least bit interested in Christianity. Praise God! (Who is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.)
