Investika says Berong Nickel signs ore supply deal with QNPL

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Investika Ltd said Berong Nickel Corp has entered into a five-year laterite ore supply agreement with BHP Billiton's Queensland Nickel Pty Ltd (QNPL).

Berong Nickel will supply up to 500,000 wet metric tons per year. The first shipment under the deal is scheduled for delivery from Berong in late September, the company said.

The laterite ore will initially be shipped from the company's operations at Berong to QNPL's Yabulu Refinery in North Queensland, Australia.

Investika holds a 24.8 pct stake in Berong Nickel.
