She must be nervous, if it's possible to ascribe a complex emotion like that to such a primitive creature.

The reason I can tell is that we haven't heard any of her infantile "Bang, bang!"'s in awhile. This is sort of how I felt while waiting for my son to grow out of Barney the Dinosaur when he was two years old. We should savor these moments, because one day our little Nancy will be all grown up, and she won't believe in SPD-equipped automobiles or the Tooth Fairy anymore.
