you make a good point, nevertheless Steve Job takes a dollar salary yet he is the highest paid CEO. Its all tied to his performance. Dov Moran who was the founder and CEO of M sys had the same deal over many years (at 4 pph and 40). He sold the company many years later to sndk never taking more then a buck in salary. I dont think the shareholder care how much the CEO makes if he is preforming. Right now 1 dollar is a fair price for a company/ceo that consistently under preform. 2 is not in the cards right now. 1.2 will be a gift. We used to have coverage and buy recommendations but they all got burned once and again. The litmus test will be the pps on the days after the CEO is fired (if it happens). Something tells me we will be up not down (the market will see it as short term positive)
