mm, I know that a lot of people put a lot of faith in technology to overcome all obstacles. But to have Ms Tudor agreeing with you on political issues should tell you you're way off course. Why should the Gov't provide high speed internet? What is that some new form of welfare? What's the number 1 activity that the internet is used for? I think you know the answer, not a slam at you personally, but that's what the surveys tell us: porn. Why should the Gov't supplement the porn industry? Aside from that aspect, businesses are scrambling to come up with security measures on the internet, to include hiring hackers for good purposes to prevent those with deviant ideas from getting into their systems. There are major problems from becoming too reliant on the tech, just like people wondering why our students in public schools seem to be falling behind our peer nation's students, not learning the basics.
