AIDS spread faster and farther in Africa due to normal hetrosexual activity.

One of the aspects of American AIDS is that it tends to stay in the gay community, because once it gets started there...it stays there. Now it has spread to the hetrosexual community as well, but it's taken longer to get established, simply because of the tendency of gays to stay with gay sex.
