We're over 2B now, and just moving into India, and many areas of SE Asia and China, Africa also.

With "convergence" and all the new portable media devices / laptops further enabled by 3G (3GSM/ CDMA2000), many folks will no doubt have several devices and perhaps several sub plans.

Saw a recent article re: $40 CDMA handsets w/ MP3, camera, internet connectivity, etc. And, $30 GSM voice only phones.
