Balance sheets and revenues have been in the dumpster for a long time. There is evidence that is changing.

There was an article in this morning's newspaper that supports your viewpoint. Highlights of the article are:
1. Global semiconductor sales topped $20 billion in October 2005, the highest one month total on record. This was an increase of 6.6% from $18.8 billion in October 2004.
2. Global semiconductor sales were $166.4 billion in 2003.
3. Global semiconductor sales hit a record high of $213 billion in 2004.
4. Global semiconductor sales are on track to rise 6.8% this year to $228 billion.
5. Before 2004 the record high for global semiconductor sales was $204.4 billion in 2000.
6. For the last 18 months consumer electronic devices have accounted for more than half of semiconductor sales.
