You can’t assume that TI’s new DLP chip sets don’t use RDRAM.

Their current line of DLP controllers use both RDRAM and SDRAM.

For example, TI’s recent DLP Control ASIC, DDP2000, uses RDRAM.
(And optional SDRAM).
