What version of Windows Media Player are you using? I'm using Version 10. If your not using this version, why don't you upgrade? If you are using V10, then you might want to consider reinstalling the Player.

Other have used this feature without having the problem that your are reporting. I assume that you are using XP Home with the SP2 installed.
