Because the Constitution allows the President to choose
despite the wishes of an obstructionist minority.

Besides, the very liberal ABA gave each of the obstructed
nominees very high ratings. They are more than qualified &
have nothing about them that is disagreeable other than Bush
selected them.

Sorry, but blaming Bush for dividing over obvious partisan
obstructionism by a slew of Democratic Senators is absurd.
All you are saying is give us what we want & screw the
Constitution.
