LLooking back on BR's Wood win and his whopping Beyer 120, the track was like concrete that day, reason enough to suspect his extraordinary speed. Moroever, in his two races this year, the has beaten only lesser sorts.

Curiously, a quick look shows that BR and Greeleys' Galaxy are the only two who have never raced against any of the other 18. Every other runner has black type in their races.

I toss them, happily so because the race is goofy enough to play a short price or untested GG with racing luck playing such a huge part in the stampede.

I see Noble Causeway, with the finishing genes of his daddy in his blood and Gary Stevens on his back, rounding the final turn near the back of the pack, going maybe seven wide for a clear shot and passing the entire field in the final furlong. Margin: 2 1/2
