Nortel needs to slash costs and then merge with a more ethical better run company. What scares investors is the fact that it may not happen due to Canadian national pride. I wonder if the Canadians would rather have NT continue to decline and destroy Canadian investor wealth rather than do the right things.

I plan to never again invest in a Canadian company and will advise others to also avoid Canadian companies.

NT is beginning to smell like that French Quebec company Microcell.
