Happy Holidays to everyone on the thread!

It's been ages since I've posted, but I've been extremely busy with my new job and my trading has been severely limited. Mostly just to the Free Picks (which have done pretty well) and an occasional swing trade of my own here and there.

I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to 2005. My new position has kept me almost too occupied. It probably won't end anytime soon, either. I suppose it's a good thing.

I purchased 5% of a horse last June, its name is Lovely Prospect. She ran her first race yesterday and, unfortunately, finished 5th of 8, after leading the first half of the race. She isn't likely to make the Breeders' Cup (I can dream, though), but she does have the makings of a fine racer. She was challenged twice and kept pulling. She just wasn't used to racing. We opted not to use the crop, since it was her first race, and she responded beautifully. More beautifully next time, I hope.

I hope everyone had a prosperous 2004 and is even more successful in 2005. All the best. I will endeavor to visit more in 2005.
