"Trading for a Living", by Dr. Elder, is a good one.
It explores not only the construction (math) of each major technical indicator (stochastics, RSI, MACD, etc.), but also classical technical analysis (trends, support/resistance levels, patterns).
Dr. Elder covers the basic * ASSUMPTIONS * behind each indicator, and therefore what can be inferred from a certain indicator about the behaviour of the bulls/bears.
He is a psychiatrist by training, so he focuses on the psychology of trading (battle between bears and bulls).
