You mentioned the competition from SAP Baan, etc. Here is part of an article from the June 23rd edition of InformationWeek in discussing supply chain mgmt software.

"But perhaps the most critical reason for the rise of supply-chain systems has been the SHORTCOMINGS of traditional enterprise resource planning (ERP) suites sold by vendors such as SAP,Baan & Oracle.'Many companies actually believe they are getting the supply chain piece from their ERP systems' says Gartner Group's Mescher. 'Companies are finding out that these systems do not cover the supply chain. That leaves companies like I2 & Manugistics in a great position.'" (Though he didn't mention Logility, Amswa's subsidiary, two of the three companies they used as successful examples, Heineken and Mercury Marine were sold their systems by Logility)

The author also mentioned that several of the big boys were interested in acquiring one of these companies. With a quality product and low PE and a price of $9 a share
Amswa/Logility has to be seen as a possible buyout contender. Should be an interesting/profitable next few quarters....
