|KDDI To Provide Communication Services To Toyota Info Network|

TOKYO -(Dow Jones)- KDDI Corp. (J.KDD or 9433) said Monday it will provide a wide range of communications services to Toyota Motor Corp.'s (TM or 7203) new " G-Book" information network service.
The move is aimed at increasing the use of KDDI's third-generation "CDMA2000 1x" mobile communications technology.
As a part of its services to Toyota, KDDI will enable Toyota's "G-Book" users to connect to its 3G network for online services and to access the KDDI network center for data communications.
Toyota's "G-Book" users will also be able to access the "G-Book" center via KDDI's IP-VPN (Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network).
KDDI's 3G technology provides data transmission speeds of up to 144 kilobits per second.
KDDI shares ended down 1.6% at Y375,000 and Toyota shares finished down 0.6% at Y3110. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average closed down 1.2%.
