Ted, Re: I am very surprised at the size of the AMD loss........<$.74 EPS. Won't have time to listen to the CC this night but the earnings doesn't sound too bad to me. I had expected a loss in that region (actually a little bit higher) and AMD seems quite optimistic about Q4 (including driving costs down). If all the inventory talk is true and if Tbred-B finally materializes in volume a significant revenue increase sounds like a reasonable projection to me. Of course Hammer still needs to be a success for AMD but this development could give AMD some breathing room. The stock is up about 7% in AH, so I guess the "street" is also somwehat positively surprised. Of course the reaction would have been a lot better if AMD's management hadn't lost any credibility they gained in the past few years. Andreas
