We cannot make the mistake of looking at Islam through Western eyes, unlike Christianity and Judaism, Islam is unable to separate politics and religion... Islam regards the entire Western world as infidels and as an obstacle to the spread of Islam... the entire arab world applauds Sadam Insane's declarations against the United States, he serves as the barking dog for all the arab world... the passive appeasement that prevailed in Europe in the 30's is what allowed Hitler to rise to power...
