|Any particular model?|
We built ours using the SE440BX-2 INTEL motherboard
and 450MHz Intel Pentium II so we would have a
stable system. It has been nothing BUT. Even
the Power Supply was carefully selected. My son
figures we have a LEMON Intel motherboard. Recently
my son yanked out the high quality CRUCIAL 128MB PC100
w/ECC SDRAM (Intel recommended) and replaced it with
NON-ECC 256MB PC150 "OCZ Technology" CAS2/CL2 SDRAM.
It made an IMMEDIATE difference!! It used to crash
4-6 times in about 18 hours. Now it can actually run
6-10 hours before it seeks to crash. But if we REBOOT
it about every 4 hours, it remains quite stable.
Can't wait to upgrade to something else though.
It is a real PAIN to be in the middle of a trade
