OSI Systems Announces Earnings to Exceed Expectations for 2002 Fiscal Third Quarter

HAWTHORNE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 9, 2002--OSI Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:OSIS):

-- Third quarter revenue expected to exceed $32 million versus analysts' estimate of $30.5 million

-- Company expects it will report earnings per share of between

$0.14 and $0.16 versus $0.12 per share analyst expectations

OSI Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:OSIS) today announced that it expects earnings per share for its third quarter of fiscal 2002, which ended March 31, 2002, to be between $0.14 and $0.16 per share, which is above the analysts' estimate of $0.12 per share. Management expects to provide further guidance in the earnings release scheduled for after market close on Thursday, April 25, 2002.
