Hi Rob and Hardly, I think this questioning of the quality of earnings is the perfect setup for Orcl to gain some ground on Mr Softee. After our government gets the hanging they're hunting for,those companies that have chosen the real and conservative gaap procedures will be those that are rewarded with higher multiples by the investor community. Scrubbed and sifted earnings will make the theme of future analysts recommendations. The creme is about to be rewarded. This is a fitting reward and natural biproduct of the speculation that resulted in so much lost equity during the .com bubble. I think first we get a pound of punishment and a thorough purging of any other deceivers out there. I f this results in a short term dip in Oracle's stock price it will be a great and perhaps last wonderful buying opportunity. Then we play catch up as corporate America follows the lead of GE and GM in making huge cost savings by going to internet based operations - Just like Orcl has claimed AND DONE with their own operations.
