Great news!

Interesting that when the application was denied way back when, Hatim said "It wasn't material in our view," and now that it is approved, Hatim says ``This is a momentous achievement for Wi-LAN, and its patented W-OFDM technology,''

Looks a little foolish. A more matter of fact news release may have been more appropriate considering Hatim's "not material" comments.

Ah, but bygones...
