EPISODE TWO of electioncircus.com  IS A KILLER KLEIN SHOW

For Immediate Release, April 26, 2001

Albertan Advantage Cuts Up in Next Episode of the Official BC Liberal Webtoon electioncircus.com

VANCOUVER - This week's installment of Election Circus makes a traumatic stop in the Kootenay town of Nelson where health care is on the BC Liberal's hidden agenda. A knife-wielding Premier Ralph Klein gives comic child star Lisa Simpson a taste of neo-Liberal steel in Guerrilla Media's (GM) second episode of the Internet animation series.

"Who better to give Gordon Campbell a lesson in medicare management than Alberta Premier Ralph Klein?" said GM spokesclown Zatiryk Chukls. "In Klein country, private health care providers were given an Albertan advantage that we will probably soon BC-ing here. Wakka wakka."

"In Alberta, private-health care pushers MDS Metro Laboratory Services Ltd. and its sibling companies contributed more than $56,000 to Ralph's posse from 1994 to 1997," said Chukls.

"During 1997 and 1998, three MDS-controlled venture-capital firms contributed
$3-million to start-up Canada's first for-profit, acute-care hospital which opened in Calgary last year," said Chukls. "MDS couldn't have done it without Bill 11 help from Ralph the Knife."

"From 1996 to 1999, the MDS Mafia gave $22,593 to Campbell's BC Liberals," said Chukls. "We can only imagine what feats of privatization magic the Magnificent Gordo and his gang will perform for their corporate pals once elected."

Election Circus is the latest GM webtoon and stars that master of snake-oil hucksterism BC Liberal leader Gordon Campbell. Cyber visitors can catch new episodes of the right-wing freak show weekly, enter the Funhouse section to read the "Clown of the Day" quote, or download Gordorrific screensavers and episodes.

"Web traffic at Election Circus has a made this cartoon series a really big show - the response is even better than last fall's daywatch2000.com  series on the Alliance's whatisname," said Chukls. "In our first week, the Election Circus site had nearly 135,000 hits and 7,500 unique visits."
