Thank you for taking the time to write about Metricom's Ricochet network. It is unfortunate however, that you left out SEVERAL key points, and focused on negative and incomplete information. I would appreciate a copy of the interview you said you had with Metricom.

Are you aware that Go America has recently started to resell Ricochet. Are you aware of the agreement with Aether. How about tiny Wireless Web Connect.

Are you aware Worldcom JUST started reselling Ricochet? Are you aware Earthlink has also started?

You only mentioned Juno.

Are you aware the "cities" you mentioned, covers 48 million people. Are you aware that 400+ cities and municipalities are the numbers you did NOT mention.

I am a shareholder of Metricom as well as a Ricochet user. I can guarantee that if you use Ricochet for any length of time, you will NEVER go back to wires or itsy bitsy screen packets.

About price. NO one else has what Ricochet offers. It is unfairly criticized on price. It is worth it. Well worth it. You don't give something away no one else has.

Other companies are RAISING their prices now (DSL etc.) because they have found their business plans are not profitable. Prices will come down as Ricochet subscribers grow.and as resellers become competitive with one another. They have just started reselling.

Your article should have contained the above facts. Did you research?
