and jdsu ran up from the 110 level to 135 the day it was added, unfortunately, jdsu split 3 for 1 the HARD way since then. Today I learned that jdsu is now an S&P value stock and Kimberly Clark is now in the S&P growth category.

there will be a lot of buying mostly at the close on Friday, but will results be enough to offset the sloppy market psychology after that?

perhaps the reason that amcc has held so well over the last week is trader oriented buying and short covering in anticipation of the addition. personally, i care little about the addition, over time the stock will reflect its fundamental worth.
