TOKYO, Oct 27 (Reuters) *OPTICAL FIBRE CABLE MAKERS HIGHER ON JDS BULLISH EARNINGS* - The following stocks are on the move on Friday.

Manufacturers of optical fibre cables were sharply higher after JDS Uniphase Corp (NasdaqNM:JDSU - news) (Toronto:JDU.TO -
news), the world's largest supplier of components that boost capacity and speed in fiber-optic telecoms networks, reported
stronger-than-expected first-quarter net earnings after the bell on Thursday.

Mitsubishi Cable Industries Ltd jumped 7.3 percent to 382 yen, while Furukawa Electric Co Ltd shot up 8.02 percent to 2,895 yen.
