I hope this is not too far off-topic... I cannot get DSL because of my distance from the Central Office, so I have been considering @Home through my cable company. What worries me is,, several times a week, sometimes a day, my cable tv transmission will drop. You get that snowy screen for maybe 1-3 seconds and then it's back on. If I was running my PC via the cable system, would my pc go down and have to be rebooted? Or is there no connection between the two, seperate operations using same cable.(I know I won't get a straight answer from @Home).
